How I coach, and why I do it this way.
Every coach works differently. Here's what you can actually expect in the room with me — my style, where it comes from, and the values that keep it honest.
Direct, without being harsh
I'll tell you what I actually see — including the parts you might not want to hear — but never to score a point. If something isn't working, you'll know, and we'll deal with it together.
Practical over theoretical
We don't spend the whole session unpacking theory. Every conversation ends with something concrete to try before we meet again — small enough to actually happen.
Collaborative, not
prescriptive
You know your life better than I do. My job is to ask better questions and hold you to your own answers — not to hand you a script and check you followed it.
My Story
I studied visual arts and design, and computing, at Unitec in Auckland, and graduating with two degrees is still one of the most memorable moments of my life. Design and computing taught me to look for patterns and to break a big problem into pieces you can actually work with, and I still lean on that every day.
In 2023, I lost my mum to cancer. She was given just twelve weeks. She was deeply spiritual, and in her honour I wanted to help more and more people.
Before I ever became a life coach, I trained as a Tantra practitioner, a path I fell in love with. I live with Cerebral Palsy, and I know first-hand what it is to work out your own way through a problem. That's the version of coaching I try to offer now: unhurried, honest, and built around the person actually in front of me.
Today I coach people online, wherever they are, on relationships, mindfulness, motivation, and the everyday systems that hold a life together.
What I won't compromise on
No judgment
Whatever you bring into a session, you won't be
made to feel small for it.
Partnership, not authority
Whatever you bring into a session, you won't be
made to feel small for it.
Room to be unfinished
Whatever you bring into a session, you won't be
made to feel small for it.
Directness with care
I'll tell you the truth, but never to score a point.
Small steps, consistently
Real change comes from what you actually repeat,
not what you plan once.
Showing up when it's hard
Whatever you bring into a session, you won't be
made to feel small for it.
Consistency
What you get from me in session five is the same as
what you got in session one.
Hope without denial
I won't pretend things are fine when they're not, or that they can't get better when they can.
If this sounds like the right fit, let's talk.
The first conversation is free, with no pressure to continue.
